About
I work in Toronto as a freelance journalist and multimedia producer. I am continually pushing myself to learn new skills and I'm excited to explore new forms of journalism.
Currently, I'm a researcher and chase producer for Democracy 2025, a feature-length documentary about the 2024 U.S. election. Previously, I was researcher, chase and field producer for This Hour Has 22 Minutes Has 44 Minutes: A U.S. Election Special, as well as U.S. politics segments that aired on the 22 Minutes episodes in the fall of 2024.
Previously I was social video producer for CBC Radio, and a producer with CBC Kids Street Cents team. In that role, I won a Kidscreen Award in 2024, as well as a Public Education Award from the Canadian Dermatology Association for a series of TikToks explaining and fact-checking various skin care products, routines and myths.
In addition to video, my audio work includes a documentary on piano keyboards made especially for people with small hands, as well as a look at Quebec's poet coroner.
Film photography holds a dear place in my heart. It led me to spend a week at Artscape Gibraltar Point, documenting life on the Toronto Islands with a Hasselblad CW and a mix of medium format films.
My work has appeared on CBC.ca, as well as Maclean’s, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, the Winnipeg Free Press, and the West End Phoenix. I have worked as a stringer for Agence France-Presse. In 2013, I earned a Silver Canadian Online Publishing Award for producing and moderating the CBC Human Library project, with guests including Margaret Trudeau, Robert Munsch and Shad.
